SIISA Consultores delivers DC-3 safety training in San Luis Potosí as in-person courses with hands-on practice on each plant's own equipment: forklifts, work at heights, aerial lifts, confined spaces, first aid and fire extinguishers, among more than 20 topics. Every participant who passes receives a DC-3 certificate (Federal Labor Law, art. 153-V) the same day as the course, issued under the external training agent registration that our lead instructor holds with the STPS, Mexico's federal labor ministry.

The DC-3 (constancia de competencias o de habilidades laborales) is the record a company uses to show the STPS that it trained its personnel. Courses are taught in Spanish; the program, evidence summary and reports for corporate EHS can be prepared in English.

What each trainee takes home on course day

Mexican rules allow up to 20 business days to deliver the DC-3. At SIISA, every trainee who passes leaves with the certificate and a skills ID card.

  • DC-3 the same day, issued under the external training agent registration of our lead instructor.
  • Photo ID card with name, company, issue and expiry dates, so supervisors on the floor know who is trained and until when.
  • QR code to the trainee's records, available at any time without a request to HR.
  • Security hologram and barcode, with the trained activities listed on the back.

The card documents training; the written authorization to operate equipment remains your company's.

What does a course at your plant look like?

Practice is what separates it from an online course. Mexico's current forklift standard, NOM-006-STPS-2023, requires theory, hands-on practice and an evaluation of each operator. Read what an online forklift certificate can and cannot prove.

  1. Assessment

    Standard and group

We confirm which standard applies, how many people attend and which equipment the practice will use.

  2. Schedule

    Date and area

We book the day and prepare the practice area inside your plant.

  3. Delivery

    Theory and practice

A theory session, a virtual reality simulator for forklifts, fire extinguishers and PPE, supervised practice on the equipment and an evaluation of each participant.

  4. Evidence

    DC-3 and records

We deliver DC-3 certificates, attendance lists and evaluations for your file and for SIRCE, the STPS online training registry.

Virtual reality · Fyware Safe

VR safety training before the real equipment

Inside our DC-3 courses for forklifts, fire extinguishers and PPE, every trainee first practices the decision that is costly on the floor: braking for a pedestrian who crosses without warning, picking the extinguisher for the fire class, rejecting a cracked helmet. The mistake happens in the headset, not in your aisle.

The simulators are Fyware Safe, standalone Meta Quest 3 headsets with no PC, cables or internet, and they run in English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French and Portuguese, so supervisors from your headquarters can follow the same exercise as the crew.

Forklift
15 to 20 minutes per operator · NOM-006-STPS-2023
Fire and extinguisher use
1 minute 10 seconds on the clock to control each fire · NOM-002-STPS-2010
Personal protective equipment
15 to 20 people per hour per headset · NOM-017-STPS-2024

The simulator supports the course; it does not replace the DC-3 certificate, the supervised hands-on evaluation that NOM-006-STPS-2023 requires, or your company's written operator authorization.

Frequently asked questions

Can you file our DC-3 records in the SIRCE?

Yes. Besides delivering the DC-3 the same day, we can enter the certificates and the annual notice in your company's SIRCE account, the STPS online training registry, using the access you give us. Since the DOF agreement of April 4, 2025, that online notice replaces the DC-4 form and is due within 60 business days after each year of the training plan closes.

What is a DC-3 certificate?

The DC-3 is Mexico's official record of job skills training (Federal Labor Law art. 153-V). The external training agent registered with the STPS, Mexico's labor ministry, issues it; Mexican rules allow up to 20 business days after a passed course, and SIISA delivers it the same day.

Which DC-3 courses does a manufacturing plant need?

It depends on the plant's risks. The most common are forklifts (NOM-006-STPS-2023), work at heights (NOM-009-STPS-2011), confined spaces (NOM-033-STPS-2015), fire brigades (NOM-002-STPS-2010) and PPE (NOM-017-STPS-2024). Each standard sets its own refresher period.

Do your courses include VR simulators?

Yes, as support inside the DC-3 courses for forklifts, fire extinguishers and PPE: each trainee practices in a Fyware Safe virtual reality simulator before the supervised practice on real equipment. The simulators run in English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French and Portuguese, and they do not replace the DC-3 or the hands-on evaluation.

Do you train outside San Luis Potosí?

Yes. On-site DC-3 training and STPS consulting are delivered at plants in any Mexican state; the instructor travels and travel expenses are quoted separately. Equipment rental, extinguisher service and medical exams cover San Luis Potosí and the Bajío.

Can the training be delivered in English?

Courses are delivered in Spanish to plant personnel. We can prepare the program, the evidence summary and reports for corporate EHS in English.
